The Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) and The Sustainability Report have signed a partnership agreement to promote the environmental, social and economic sustainability projects of International Sports Federations and wider sports industry initiatives.

The partnership follows the successful launch of sustainability.sport, a web portal created by GAISF in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC). sustainability.sport aims to help further sport’s environmental goals by providing a free tool where sustainability resources from the entire sports community are collated onto one dedicated platform.

As part of this content-sharing partnership, The Sustainability Report will publish sustainability.sport content on its platforms and vice versa. The Sustainability Report will also publish an exclusive article on the sustainability.sport platform every month.

The Sustainability Report is an essential source of intelligence and insight for sports professionals committed to enhancing the environmental, social and economic sustainability of their organisations.

GAISF President Raffaele Chiulli said:

We are very pleased to be partnering with The Sustainability Report to promote positive environmental initiatives in sport and ensure a bright future for sustainability in the international sports community. This partnership will support all our Members in their ongoing efforts to highlight important work in the field of environmental, social and economic sustainability.

The Sustainability Report Founder and Editor Matthew Campelli said:

We are delighted to sign this partnership with GAISF which will help us to continue showcasing the positive impact International Sports Federations are having on their sport, athletes, fans and the planet. We are very excited to work with GAISF and all of its Members to share content and promote sustainability.sport and the great work that the global sports community is doing to champion environmental sustainability.

The Sustainability Report joins existing sustainability.sport partners, International Union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Sport and Sustainability (SandSI), in helping to increase the visibility of sustainability initiatives in the field of sport.

Since launching at the end of June 2020, sustainability.sport continues to gain momentum with new content, case studies and reports uploaded to the platform on a weekly basis.
