The Royal Thai Government, the Institute of Physical Education, came together for a day of sport, hosting the 23 AIMS sports to have a unique chance to introduce themselves to the sport universities, the Department of Physical Education and other stakeholders in Thai sport.

AIMS President Stephan Fox stated that this gathering is vital to exchange sports, as some are stronger in certain regions while others have no presence at all in certain regions. It is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the sports, awaken interest and work together with higher sporting authorities. The representatives from the IOC, IWGA, FISU and TAFISA applauded the initiatives that will now continue in different regions around the world.

AIMS Executive board member, Michal Buchel from FIAS, summed it up “Sport has a unique power, the unity in sport is important for the overall development of each of our sports.”
