The Alliance of Independent recognised Members of Sport (AIMS) was found in 2009 by the 23 non- IOC recognised members of SportAccord and is the fourth group in SportAccord along side ARISF, ASOIF and AIOWF. The aims of AIMS is to strengthen each individual sport, combine expertise, share knowledge and maintain close cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), so that the individual sport will achieve official recognition from the IOC.

President and Vice President meeting in Moscow. 

An important meeting took place between AIMS President, Mr. Stephan Fox, and AIMS Vice President, Panagiotis Theorodopoulos, to discuss important AIMS issues, upcoming General Assembly and Elections. Strategical plans had been discussed between President, Vice President and General Secretary including the Council in regards to the next step after AIMS full recognition by the IOC.

An important meeting took place in Kazakhstan between AIMS President and the former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and President of Kazakhstan Martial Arts Federation. Mr. Fox was invited together to address all Martial Art Federations and also discussions took place in regards to the World Combat Games.
