AIMS President Stephan Fox and Council Member Michal Buchel were invited to the VI MINEPS international conference for ministers and senior officials responsible for physical education and sport.
The conference was held from the 13th – 15th July in Kazan, Russia and was attended by representatives from over 120 countries. Both AIMS representatives had the chance to address the audience, the AIMS President, Mr Fox as one of the experts in the panel and Council Member and FIAS CEO, Mr. Buchel as rapporteur on behalf of the working group.
AIMS will continue to promote and foster integrity in sport as an IOC recognized umbrella group and as one of the five umbrella groups in GAISF.
Mr. Fox, stated, ” it is important that the governments understand the good governance work of AIMS members, especially as non-IOC recognised individual federations.”
